ARTSHOP provides professional art collection care and management for private collectors, estates, corporations and galleries across Toowoomba, the Darling Downs and South East Queensland.

With more than 30 years’ experience in the Australian art market, we care for collections across every medium: paintings, works on paper, textiles and fibre art, ceramics, photography, sculpture, and cultural and historical objects. We work closely with industry bodies, academics and curators at public institutions.

We can catalogue each work with photography, provenance and condition reports, creating an organised record of your collection and its history. This is particularly valuable for significant private collections, estates and corporate collections, supporting future management, valuation, insurance or sale.

Ongoing care includes regular inspections and careful cleaning of frames, glazing and objects. Unglazed works such as oil and acrylic paintings gather dust directly on the paint surface, so they are cleaned only with conservation-appropriate methods that will not cause harm. Where a painting needs more than a gentle surface clean, we can advise on restoration.

We also advise on the best hanging locations, away from direct sunlight, heat sources and humidity, and manage framing, transport, storage and installation. Where a work calls for highly specialised expertise, we draw on our trusted network of specialists.
